Privacy Policy

Dawn Strider Artificial Intelligence (“we,” “us”), PO Box 363, Lexington, SC 29071, operates Lords of the Chronicles (the “App”). Contact: cernstew@proton.me.

• Account data: email, display name, password (hashed by our auth provider), account status, and role.
• Content you create: character names and details, quest and campaign settings, prompts, notes, vision-note guidance, and any text you enter in-app.
• Generated content: chronicle narrative text, images, and videos produced by AI in response to gameplay.
• Payment metadata: Stripe customer ID, purchase amount, product/price ID, and status. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, timestamps, and error logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

• Provide and operate the App and multiplayer chronicles;
• Generate AI text, images, and video from your prompts;
• Process payments, manage tokens and subscriptions;
• Enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and secure the service;
• Improve models, prompts, and features (using stored chronicle content);
• Communicate with you about your account or important changes.

We use trusted third parties to run the App. Each processes only what is needed for its role and is bound by its own privacy terms.

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — database, authentication, storage, and the AI gateway.
• xAI (Grok) and Google (Gemini) — AI text and reasoning models.
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech “read aloud” audio.
• Cloudinary — image and video watermarking and delivery.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data under these bases: performance of the contract to provide the App; our legitimate interests in improving and securing the App; consent, where required; and compliance with legal obligations.

Chronicle text, images, and video generated in the App are stored permanently as part of the shared world of Cernia and cannot be deleted on request. Personal account data (email, display name, payment metadata, technical logs) is retained while your account is active and for up to three (3) years after your account becomes inactive, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

You may email cernstew@proton.me to request access to, or correction of, your account information. Please understand that content you contributed to chronicles will remain in the App even after your account is closed.

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will terminate it and delete the associated personal data.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and row-level access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; you use the App at your own risk.

The App is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our subprocessors operate.

• You can stop using the App at any time.
• You can update your display name and profile settings in-app.
• You can email us to request account deactivation.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
